Always be Agile

Leanne shares the story of how she started off thinking that she would have just three workshops.

I’ll do this lunch-and-learn. I’ll package it up. I’ll make it brilliant. I’ll put marketing materials around it. To tell you the truth…I haven’t sold a single one of those three workshops! I quickly realised that I had to create what my clients actually needed not what I thought they needed.

My facilitation clients come to me with the need for a specific workshop or learning event. I then create the exact learning product to suit them. That’s where being agile really helps my facilitation business.

The key point is that if you want your businesses to succeed, you have to be prepared to respond positively and dynamically to the needs of the marketplace.

This means listening and ALWAYS being responsive to your clients’ needs.
