It just takes that one moment, that one person to believe in you and give you an opportunity to show your value.
Josh Miller – Executive Coach to 350 Followers
How Josh amassed over 350 followers through nurture.
I leveraged my connections that I had with Fortune 500 companies from my advertising days.
So that when I segwayed into coaching I had these relationships that I could talk to.
Now, did they all just say, ‘We’re gonna hire you to come in and work with our company’?
Absolutely not. That never happens. That’s very rare.
It took me about a year to two years to really shift the listening of the people around me.
I continued talking to these individuals, sharing with them who I am and what I do, and giving them a taste of it.
Eventually, they gave me the opportunity. It didn’t come overnight, I had to work at it. And that’s how it all started.
I worked one-on-one with corporate C-suite executives and they loved the work that I did. And then that translated into more work within that organisation. And then word gets around.
So, for people listening, if you’re frustrated, or you’re not seeing the results don’t give up.
It just takes that one moment, that one person to give you an opportunity to show your value and worth.
Then it’s up to you to capitalise on that.
If you’re looking to develop yourself, take some time to reflect on the milestones that have made you who you are.

How do you help clients through challenges?
We all have these pivotal moments that we either let in and we process and we learn about ourselves, or we shut it out.
I think it’s really important that if you want to be good at whatever you’re doing, it’s really important to let all your experiences, good and bad, in and absorb what shows up for you.
This is how we evolve. This is how we grow.
It’s not just reading books, taking classes, getting degrees and watching TED Talks. It’s also experiencing life, not on your phone, not on the internet, go experience life.
I think that’s something that we’ve forgotten.
So much of what coaching can be is therapeutic. It’s not therapy. But we unmask, we get to the root cause of right why people are conditioned to do certain things.
This is not about habits per se, this is just about our psychological makeup and the experiences we had.
If you’re looking to develop yourself, whether it’s in the field you’re in or moving into a different field, take some time to really reflect on who you are in the moments in your life and the milestones that have made you who you are today. ⬅️
