Which marketing activities have generated the most leads? How do you know?

Mark Garrett Hayes – Why conduct a mid-year review at the half-way point of 2023?

What clarity can a mid-year review bring?

A mid-year review focuses your mind.

Thinking of small things you can do differently to your processes, procedures, structure, and financing will help you.

What you don’t want to do is start at the end of August and then wish you’d taken some time to review things.

So carve out some time to think about where you want to be in the rest of 2023, and how you’re going to get there.

Letting go of certain clients can be a tough decision, but it may be necessary for your growth.

Mark Garrett Hayes – Why conduct a mid-year review at the half-way point of 2023?

Are you scared to let go of difficult clients?

Inevitably, some clients are not as much fun to work with as others. Perhaps they’re consuming too much of your time.

There’s this funny dynamic whereby, very often, the people who are the hardest to work for are the least profitable.

So, you might want to look at that. Are there clients you could move away from that will allow you to grow in the rest of 2023? Can you afford that?

If you look at your clients, where is that client base? Are they down below? Are they up top? Are the high-paying clients that you want to remove? Are they low-paying clients?

It’s a tough decision to make.

Sometimes letting go of clients is difficult, as we all fear losing business by saying goodbye to particular clients.

But when I’ve done that I’ve felt better.

New opportunities will likely surface that may end up being more worth your while
